fishing regulations

Hello Rich, My boat is located in Staten Island and I fish along staten Island and New Jersey. I dont understand why the fish regulations differ from state to state. If it is the same body of water and there is a real shortage of a specific species wouldn't it be better if we all had the same regulations. I feel this would have a much better impact on helping that particular fish. Thanks Rob

I have spoken at legnth and in great detail on this matter on our weekly radio show including interviewing those in charge....it would take days to rehash it all here..

I can suggest you go to the web site and under Radio Show info go back over the last few years and listen to some of these interviews..but you're right we all need the same reg's.

I read a NJ report. Capt was complaining of having to throw back so many 17 3/4 inch fish. Fishing the same water we throw back 20 3/4 fish! I remember when those won the pool!
