Cod Fishing - Full Moon

Does Full or New Moon affect Cod Fishing? I would think so but not sure.

It affects the tide and current more then the fish, I have caught the cod very well on new and full moons, you just have to adjust your fishing to the conditions.

They may want to bite better on the end of the tide and you may have to use heavier weights or jigs
