Any Bait Near Where You Fish?

Cowkiller says lots of bait in the Deb's to Rockaways area with sand eels piled up from the Atlantic Beach Bridge out to 25 foot of water all along the Rockaways and Long Beach areas. Bunker also in and outside the bays from Jones to Rockaway & Breezy and inside J Bay now

A few of the gillnetters are getting plenty of adult bunker along the beaches off long beach. There were lots of sandeels , but they seemed to move out to deeper water. There was a confirmed report of the first bluefish caught in Jamica bay as well.
Good action from the clam chuckers off the long Beach surf as many schoolie stripers fell to calm baits the past week on fresh skimmers.

This past sat. night just before sunset, the back bays of Moses where losded with schools of either spearing/sandeels up tight to the shore. Every step I took I found another school of bait all on the start of the incoming.
